Simple Mischief

Simple Mischief puppet studio put on an original puppet show for the Lied Center's open house showcasing their ADA accessibility and hearing loop technology. The storyline of this show follows an older gentleman that falls asleep and has some interesting fun dreams. The dream sequence was a great way for the audio readers to be able to narrate many things to showcase the hearing loop. You can find more about Simple Mischief Studios here.
The only dress rehearsal was about an hour before the show and was the only chance I got to write cues for the show. I honestly enjoyed the fast paced quick programming required for this show and I am pretty happy with how it came together! If I had more time I would have done more with effects, but for a short demo show, I didn't need to go all out. I used and focused for this show only with lights that were not being used for the Wind Orchestra concert that happened the next day, which was kind of a fun problem-solving challenge for me.
